Maurizio Sarri has been slammed by angry Chelsea fans who were livid with the Blues’ embarrassing defeat against reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.
Chelsea fans were not happy with how the club conceded four goals in the first half against the Citizens and they have however called that Maurizio Sarri should be fired.
Even before the end of the match at the Etihad, some Blues supporters insisted that Sarri would be ‘sacked in the morning’ while others joked that he would lose his job before the second half started.
Maurizio Sarri was however left scratching his head on the sidelines before the end of the first half as Chelsea managed not to concede more than four goals.
Fans have now taken to social media to express their grievances for Chelsea’s defeat against Manchester City in the Premier League
This will be the second time that Chelsea will suffer an embarrassing defeat this season in the Premier League following their 4-0 loss against Bournemouth.
The defeat forced Sarri to attack his players in the dressing room telling them that some of them refused to listen to instructions.
Sarri also made it known that Eden Hazard is free to leave the club if he wants to as Real Madrid want his signature.
But the Blues responded with an emphatic win over Huddersfield in their next game at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are currently out of the top four teams in the Premier League as they now occupy sixth position on the standings with 50 points after 26 games…
But surprisingly, Belgium international Eden Hazard is said to be among the players that should be sold this summer which will be a cheering news for Spanish club Real Madrid.
This is according to former Liverpool star Stan Collymore who explained that Maurizio Sarri needs to allow some players to leave the club if he stays at the end of the season.
